𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡

The CANDY CLOUD sweater is a summery mohair pullover with a soft, floating look and cheerful candy-colored stripes. In the photos, the fabric has that unmistakable mohair halo: airy, slightly sheer and cloudlike, with glowing bands of pink, rose, orange, pale yellow and powder pink. The relaxed shape, gently rolled hem and simple neckline keep the silhouette modern and easy to wear over a camisole, a dress or on its own.

This pattern is knit from the top down in the round in stockinette stitch, without short rows. The yoke is shaped with raglan increases, with two center stitches forming each raglan line. After the yoke, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold, the body is worked in the round, and the sleeves are picked up and knit separately.

The color gradient is created by holding two strands of Drops Kid-Silk together and changing only one strand at a time for soft transitions. The balloon sleeves stay full through most of the arm, then gather near the cuff with decrease rounds and a switch to smaller needles. There is no ribbing at the body hem; the slight curl is part of the relaxed design.
