Knit with two strands of silk-mohair held together, SKYE feels feather-light and slightly sheer — warmth without any bulk. The slipover is worked bottom-up in the round in smooth stockinette, with the color changing every few rounds for effortless, watercolor-like stripes. No advanced colorwork skills needed.
The shoulders are joined with a clean three-needle bind-off, and the stitches around the neckline become a subtle rolled mock neck collar — a modern detail that makes the whole piece look boutique-made. Wear it on bare skin in summer or layer it over a t-shirt or blouse in spring and fall.
